FAMILY GAME DAY 2019, SET FOR MARCH 3rd IN BRAMPTON
Updated: Feb 26, 2019
The 2019 Path of Play campaign is now in full swing. A rebuilt website, some team changes, and an evolved strategy so that this organisation can connect with more families. On top of that, our Family Game Day events will get underway very soon.
If you would like to attend one of these events, simply register on our website.
Picking up where we left off.
The REPLAY FOUNDATION is our greatest ally. Our relationship with them enables us to continue this layer of Path of Play in the Toronto area.
Family Friendly Pinball Titles
Every July, we choose which machines come to Toronto from Pittsburgh, where the Replay Foundation is based.
Pictured left is Indiana Jones, stuffed with thematic sounds from the movies, and SO MUCH FUN to play. It's a great fit for family-friendly pinball experiences.
World Cup Soccer is another wonderful theme for our guests, as they try to score goals on a moving goalie. We've seen a few kids now get behind this machine and explode with elation as they flip balls into the net.
We should note that we have our sponsor's illumination product (pictured right) on this machine.
Pin Stadium Lights is a proud sponsor of Path of Play, and we very much appreciate being able to use their product. We use them, not only for our live broadcasts, but also, for the benefit of our guests seeing the play-field.
"See better, play better", is what we say.
Not all of our guests resort to pinball however, which is why we keep other avenues for play available, including video games, board games, and other toy-based activities.
One of the things we are adding to our setup is a canvas tent within a designated quiet area. This will be for guests who may experience sensory-related challenges. We make every effort to ensure that these traits are not triggered, but when it does, our plan this year is to be better prepared, ensuring a positive experience for all of the families we connect with. Our industry professionals will also continue to attend our events - NOT to offer therapy services, but rather, to assist with our play activities throughout the day.
Three events are planned for the Greater Toronto Area, and we hope to extend this initiative to seven other cities around the world, later in the year.
We look forward to seeing everyone again this year! Once again, if you would attend one of these events, simply register on our website.
