BOARD GAME DISTRIBUTION BEGINS
Updated: Feb 16, 2019
Last year, Path of Play dipped its toe into distributing board games to autism therapy centres and family homes. This year, the organisation wants this initiative to be MUCH more productive.
Lina Pezzo and Sarah Trdina opened up Connecting Dots in the summer of 2018, and both have attended Family Game Day events for Path of Play. We are pleased to announce that we will be working with them closely, as we begin developing strategies on different ways to use these games within a therapy based environment.
Our game packs come with three titles. Orchard is a wonderful game that introduces kids to dice rolling and resource selection. You have to pick the fruit and put it in your basket before the crow comes to steal it.
Rhino Hero, is a tremendous dexterity game for kids who benefit from occupational therapy. Build the apartment complex as high as you can, and watch the Rhino climb.
Monza is also a dice rolling game, where kids must carefully pick colors on the die set to move their race car around the track and win. Colour squares make up the track, which allow players to progress.
Even Luke joined in on this delivery and offered to teach Lina and Sarah how to play.
This will be the first many distributions to take place around North America. Stay tuned for further developments with this program.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to HABA Games for being a sponsor of Path of Play, and allowing us to keep our games distribution program ongoing.
